Jack Jaffe, M.D., Ph.D.
Clinical Research Investigator
As a clinical research investigator, Dr. Jaffe works directly with MedVadis Research volunteers and supervises the work of the clinical research coordinators. He conducts the physical examinations and reviews the results of laboratory blood testing and reads the ECGs performed by the coordinators.
Dr. Jaffe holds a Ph.D. in physics from MIT and an M.D. from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He began in medicine as a research fellow in medical physics at the Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy. After medical school, he completed his medical residency at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
In addition to Internal and Emergency Medicine, Dr. Jaffe’s training and experience is in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He has held clinical and faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School, Metro West Medical Center, and Tufts University School of Medicine’s St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.
